EXTRA CURRICULAR POSITIONS - ATHLETICS 2025 - 2026 SCHOOL YEAR
The following extracurricular position is available for the 2025 - 2026 school year.
Coaching Position - Wrestling 1st Assistant
All candidates must be available to conduct practice from December 1, 2025 up to and no later than March 20, 2026 and possess all current AED/CPR/First Aid and coaching certifications. Season - Winter
Position - Wrestling 1 st Assistant Coach
Salary Range - $4,829 - $5,756, dependent on experience
Job Summary: The Wrestling - 1st Assistant is responsible for various aspects of the wrestling program, such as recruiting within the school, attending all practices and matches, supervising athletes, training, coaching team members and all other duties as assigned by the head coach. The Wrestling – 1 st Assistant is required to abide by all NJSIAA rules and regulations as well as the rules and regulations set by the Pittsgrove School District and Schalick High School
Minimum Qualifications: 2 years of experience coaching wrestling at the high school level (preferred) or experience coaching youth wrestling Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills. Must possess knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport. Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, teachers and student athletes. Must posses 60 college credits or Substitute Teaching Certificate
