The Pittsgrove Township School District has the following coaching positions open for the 2026-27 school year:

 

Fall   Football        2nd Assistant

 

All candidates must be available to conduct practice from July 1, 2026, up to and no later than November 29, 2026.  Candidate must be available by 2:00 pm each scheduled day and possess all current AED/CPR/First Aid and coaching certifications.

 

Job Summary:

The Football - 2nd Assistant is responsible for various aspects of the football program, such as recruiting within the school, attending all practices and games, supervising athletes, training and coaching team members, and all other duties as assigned by the head coach.  The Football - 2nd Assistant is required to abide by all NJSIAA rules and regulations, as well as the rules and regulations set by the Pittsgrove School District and Schalick High School.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience coaching (preferred) or experience playing at the college or high school level
  • Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills
  • Must possess knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport
  • Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators. teachers and student athletes
  • Must possess 60 college credits or a Substitute Teaching Certificate
